Last updated 2020-06-01 ·Reference W-6709876 ·Reported By 5 users
Using a process to update either or both of the following fields during user creation or modification can cause an Internal server error (ISE):
Salesforce Error ID: 1269375445-48832 (-913637398)
Salesforce Error ID: 1269375445-49162 (1339155393)
1. Create a process on the user object that fires on create and every edit
2. Use any criteria to fire to true
Update either of the following fields:
The process will run successfully at this time.
When the user logs in for the first time, the process will run again, and the administrator will receive an email regarding the process failing. Error:
This error occurred when the flow tried to update records: Error occurred attempting to get data type for : RawFieldImpl[tableName: User, columnName: UserPreferencesReceiveNoNotificationsAsApprover__NotFound]
Error element myDecision (FlowDecision).
Formula result is data type (Object), incompatible with expected data type (true or false).
1. Only have the process fire at creation.
There is not currently a work around to allow these fields to be accessible at all times, and each org should examine if they need these fields to be checked/modified every time the user object is modified, or if setting them when the user is created is enough.
