Macro Fails When It Contains Many Submit Instructions
Last updated 2019-10-12 ·Reference W-6320973 ·Reported By 8 users
When a macro contains many sequential Submit instructions, it is prone to fail. Submit instructions cause the browser page to refresh, which can cause the macro engine and the user interface to get out of sync.
1. Create a macro that selects a quick action and submits it multiple times.
2. Run the macro several times.
There are three workarounds that the agent can try.
First, the agent can wait and then rerun the macro.
Second, the agent can edit the macro to reduce the number of Submit instructions.
Third, the agent can use a flow that contains the logic used by the multiple Submit instructions.
