Fixed in version Marketing Cloud Release January 2020

Summary
When attempting to write an Email Address into a Journey Builder Integration activity, the system performs a validation that fails the condition when a subdomain Email Address is used.

Repro
- Configure a Journey within Journey Builder
- Drag a Sales & Service Cloud Activity onto the canvas and configure
- Choose to map a field to an Email Address field within the Sales & Service Cloud
- Write out a subdomain Email Address, for example example@test.example.com
- Save the Activity

An Error of 'Please enter a valid email' will appear under the field mapped

Workaround
There are two possible work-arounds;

1) Use Marketing Cloud's Data Binding feature to specify where to collect the Attribute from.

https://developer.salesforce.com/docs/atlas.en-us.mc-apis.meta/mc-apis/how-data-binding-works.htm

2) Hard code the Email address within curly brackets ( {example@test.example.com} ) to bypass the validation
