Previews for support formats are not always generating.

In general Salesforce does not guarantee that all Files will generate a preview but, an issue has been found when an instance is under higher than normal load that this can lead to previews not being generated when they normally would be.
Difficult to reproduce, users will typically see these failing during a specific period of time and then starting to work again for new files.
Individual file previews can be regenerated in Setup under Salesforce Files -> Regenerate Previews.
Please note this will not always work.
