Lightning summary report floating headers misalign with report details in Safari
Last updated 2020-02-15 ·Reference W-5934908 ·Reported By 29 users
Report headers in a Lightning Summary Report may not align properly with the report details if a user views the report using the Safari browser. Headings such as grouping field values, subtotals, or totals may display one or two rows off from the expected row alignment.
1. In the Safari browser, create a summary report using Lightning.
2. Add enough fields to the detail page to extend the report details horizontally.
3. The horizontal scroll will split the headers off of the detail section into a floating header component.
4. The floating headers, such as subtotals, will not align properly with the report details.
Using a supported browser other than Safari will display report headers with the proper alignment.
For users wanting to continue viewing the affected reports via Safari, removing enough fields from the report details to disable horizontal scrolling will allow the headers to re-attach to the report details and align properly.
