Custom Field component link in Outbound Change Set broken when clicked via Lightning
Last updated 2018-05-17 ·Reference W-4098026 ·Reported By 1 users
Summary
When working with an Outbound Change Set in Lightning, clicking on the name of a Custom Field component will not direct you to the Custom Fields details page.
Instead, you will remain on the Change Set and the address bar will change to something similar to:
https://na24.lightning.force.com/one/one.app?source=aloha#/setup/object/{id}/{detailType}/page?address=%2F00NXXXXXXXXXXXX%3Fisdtp%3Dp1&a:t=1498840176155
Repro
1. Log into an org that allows Change Sets
2. Navigate to Setup | Deploy | Outbound Change Sets
3. Create an outbound change set and add at least one Custom Field.
After you add it, you'll be returned to the main screen of that change set.
4. Attempt to click on the name of the Custom Field you just added.
Results:
From Aloha, the link will take you to the Custom Field detail page.
From Lightning, the page will kind of flash like it's attempting to load, but it will stay on the Change Set. The address bar will change to something similar to:
https://na24.lightning.force.com/one/one.app?source=aloha#/setup/object/{id}/{detailType}/page?address=%2F00NXXXXXXXXXXXX%3Fisdtp%3Dp1&a:t=1498840176155
Workaround
Navigate to the Custom Field through the Object Manager
