Communities: Search Results uses different date format for Knowledge, Discussions, Groups

Summary
The date formats for Knowledge, Groups, and Discussions in Global Search results in Communities do not match localisation settings for the logged in user or the base Salesforce org.
Repro
1. Create a Community in an Org with a non-US locale
2. Create a Community user (Optional: this user can have a different locale from the organization's settings)
3. Log into the Community and use the Global Search
4. Note that date formats are different
Workaround
There is no workaround at this time.
