The Salesforce Technology team has identified an intermittent issue that may occur during bulk update/upsert operations using Bulk API, Batch Apex, Soap API, Apex Rest, or Lightning Sync. When this issue is encountered, the records will fail to save, resulting in the error: "INVALID_CROSS_REFERENCE_KEY: invalid cross reference id".
If you encounter this error, please try re-running the failed jobs again as a temporary workaround.
The Salesforce Technology team is investigating the root cause of this issue.
