Winter 16:RecordId null in standard controller from a Publisher action in Lightning/SF1

Winter 16 issue: RecordId null in standard controller from a Publisher action in Lightning/SF1.Works fine in Salesforce classic

In Winter 16 Org:
1. Create a controller extension:
public class CaseControllerExtension {
private Case c;
public CaseControllerExtension(ApexPages.StandardController caseController) {
this.c = (case) caseController.getRecord();
public string getCaseIdString() {
return c.Id;

a) Create a Visualforce page that will display the case id. Name it :TestCasePage
<apex:page standardController="Case" extensions="CaseControllerExtension">
Case Id: {!}
b) Select:Available for Salesforce mobile apps and Lightning Pages
3). Setup -> Customize -> Cases -> Button,Links, and Actions
a) New Action
b) Action Type -> Custom Visual Force
c) Select the VisualForce page from Step 2
d) Label -> test case page
e) Save
4). SetUp -> Customize -> Cases -> Page LayOut -> Case LayOut -> Edit
a) Quick Actions -> Drag an drop 'test case page' under Quick Actions in the Salesforce Classic Publisher
b) Salesforce1 Actions -> Drag an drop 'test case page' under Salesforce1 and Lightning Experience Actions
5. Create a new case (create a new account and contact if not already created and associate them to the case)
6). If not already in lightning mode -> Click on the login name -> 'Switch to Lightning experience'
7). Click on cases on the left hand side
a) Click on the case that you created above
b) Click on the 'test case page' tab
c) Notice that case ID returned is null
8) Now 'Switch to Salesforce classic' by clicking on login user name and selecting the option
a)Click on the 'test case page' tab (if not visible click on more drop down on the right)
b) Notice that the case id is returned as expected.
