Summary
When using Salesforce1 or the Lightning Experience UI with the State & Country Picklist feature enabled, users may notice a missing or duplicate State value.
This is caused by states with a duplicate name and code value in the State & Country Picklists settings.
Repro
In State & Country Picklists settings create 2 states in different countries giving them both the same 'State Name' and 'State Code'. Ex. Granada, GR for Spain and Nicaragua.
Switch to the Lightning Experience UI or log into Salesforce1
Create a new record
Choose Spain for the Country drop down of Address
- Granada may be missing or duplicated
Choose Nicaragua for the Country drop down of Address
- Granada may be missing or duplicated
Workaround
The work around for this issue is to change the name or code for one of the States such as GRN for Granada, Nicaragua
