Person Account actions do not display predefined field values in Lightning Experience and Salesforce1

Some of our customers have reported that the predefined fields for Actions using Person Accounts are not being respected in Lightning Experience and Salesforce1.
1. Create an Action for Person Accounts that has a predefined field.
2. Expose that Action to Salesforce1 and observe that the field you chose does not auto-populate with your predefined field.
System Administrators can create a field update or trigger to auto-populate a field with a specific value.
This will be resolved in a future release of Salesforce.
