Salesforce1 related list Open Activities Start Date shows incorrect GMT timezone (next day) on Events
Last updated 2015-09-03 ·Reference W-2357055 ·Reported By 3 users
For Events. Salesforce1 events list view will display the GMT timezone date instead of the correct timezone for event date of logged in user.
On Salesforce1 (browser-based one.app and native), users viewing scheduled activities set for later in the day may see those events shown with the next day as start date as a result of improper timezone calculations. Users are still able to view the correct Start Date upon viewing the actual event.
In most cases, users seeing this issue will be located in GMT+X timezones i.e. US
This fix is slated to be fixed in the Spring '15 release (safe harbor)
Change user timezone to GMT+10 as example.
Create an Event as Aug 25 8am to 10am as example.
Open Salesforce1 and visit event list.
You will see the page shows Aug 24 8am
