Chatter @Mention emails not sending to some users from Custom Objects # 2

Some users in some organizations based on the sharing and hierarchy may not receive @Mention email notifications. The email notifications are not produced by the application.
This is limited to certain complex sharing conditions (similar to an earlier known issue with a different root cause).
@Mention a user or several users on a Chatter feed on a Custom object and some users will get a notification e-mail and some users will not.
@Mention the user on parent object or both none custom object entity or all. For this specific issue, administrators could also check "Grant Access Using Hierarchies" in custom object (master) sharing settings. If this does not help, please log a Support case for further assistance.
