Summary
In a Spring '14 org with State and Country picklists enabled, standard Objects with State & Country picklist fields may not be referenced in a Visual Flow.

Error:
You've lost your connection to salesforce.com. if you have unsaved changes, don't close the flow or its browser. If your Internet connection is okay, open another window in the same browser and log in. Then return to the browser window with the open flow, and save your changes. If the problem continues, contact salesforce.com Customer Support.

Repro
1. Login
2. Open an existing Flow or click "New Flow"
3. Add a data element to the canvas
4. Choose an Object that uses State & Country picklists such as Account, Lead, or Contact
5. Error

Workaround
At this time, the only workaround is to disable State & Country picklists.
