Different results searching in search console compared to sales application

Different search results in the service console compared to doing it in the sales application
1. Login as the system admin in the org
2. Navigate to the Support Console App
3. In global Search, search for certain account record
4. Edit the options on the left to only show a limited number of objects, including Accounts.
5. Take note of the number of resulting Accounts. Only shows 1 account
6. Go to the sale app and search for the same account in step 2 in global search
7. Notice the amount of records returned for the account object (25+)
The only workaround is to use more specific terms when searching on records in the console. R&D is working on a tentative fix.
