Receive an internal server error when attempting to upgrade an existing managed package.

The internal server error occurs when you are attempting to upgrade a managed package that is already installed in an organization. The error occurs only if there is a field that has the same API name in the managed package as one already in the organization and these fields are part of the same custom report type.
This error occurs even if both fields already exist in the org.
Attempt to upgrade a managed package where there is a namespaced field that has the exact same api name without the namespace as an existing field where both of these fields are included in the same custom report type.
EX: Field_1__c and mp__Field_1__c are both included in Custom Report Type A.
Rename the non namespaced custom field or remove the fields from the custom report type.
