Customization of list views do not show selected field

- When users edit or clone list views, the “Selected Fields” section does not display the columns already appearing in the list view.
- The behavior is reproducible in any environment, all browsers.
1 - Login to salesforce.com
2 - Navigate to one of the affected list views.
3 - Click the “Edit” link.
4 - Scroll down to “Step 3. Select Fields to Display”
5 - Notice the “Selected Fields” section is empty.
