Partial Sandbox copy stopping due to time

Summary
Occasionally partial sandbox copies including a large number of objects can stop due to a timeout in the copy process. This is currently most often seen for copies including the Topics or Knowledge objects as these both pull in a large number of dependent objects.
Repro
This only reproduces in certain organizations, typically those with a large amount of custom objects since including items like Knowledge will include all custom objects and Topics similarly pulls in many related objects.
Workaround
Remove Topics and/or Knowledge from the template and have SFDC support reset the copy. SFDC support can also review the internal stop information to confirm that this is the issue affecting your sandbox.
4/9/2015 The timeout limit was increased which appears to have resolved this for most customers, typically those just including Knowledge but, we are still seeing occasional timeouts for copies including Topics so this issue has been reopened.
