In Process, selecting Email Alert action on Opportunity Product object results in error

When creating an Email Alert action on Opportunity Product, selecting the Alert by name results in an Internal Server Error .
This issue is due to a sql exception: Inserted value too large for column: "OpportunityLineItem".
1.) Go to Setup|Create|Workflow & Approvals|Process Builder and create a new Process
2.) Select Opportunity Product as the object
3.) Enter any criteria
4.) Under "Immediate Actions" select "Add Action"
5.) Choose "Email Alerts" as the Action Type
6.) Add a name
7.) In the Email Alert field, start typing the name of the Email Alert and you will see the Internal Server Error pop up
