Selecting a CSV for import using the new Import My Accounts & Contacts wizard incorrectly displays "You need to import a CSV file" message

User may encounter an error message reading, "You need to import a CSV file." when selecting a CSV file for import using the new Import My Accounts & Contacts wizard (Your Name | My Settings | Import | Import My Accounts & Contacts) available with the Spring '15 release or in trial and developer orgs as outlined here:
1. Login to a Salesforce org currently on Spring '15 or a Trial/Developer Org.
2. Navigate to Setup or select Your Name | My Settings | Import | Import My Accounts & Contacts and click "Start the Import Wizard!"
3. Select either the Microsoft Excel or Generic CSV Format in the available sources.
4. Click Choose CSV File and navigate to a CSV located on your local machine | Open.
Actual Results: The dialog displays an error reading, "You need to import a CSV file." below the Choose CSV File button and users are unable to proceed with the import.
Expected Results: Since an appropriate CSV file is being selected the import tool should allow you to proceed after selecting to Open the CSV file.
Leverage an alternative import method such as the Data Import Wizard (Setup, click Data Management | Data Import Wizard), Data Loader, or other available tools outlined here:
