The All day event field seems to be a mapped field in a Lightning Sync configration but when an All Day event is created in an Outlook/Exchange Calendar the field is not populated in Salesforce after synchronization. Users should receive a notification email when tasks are assigned to them when they have enabled the setting. The notifications are not sent when a task is created and assigned from Lighting for Outlook/Gmail with a publisher action.
