Tracking True Customer Touches

Operational Reporting

At my company we need a way to track true customer touches based on Activities (related lists) our users add to accounts in SFDC. It is currently not possible to have a date/time field which records the last true customer touch. The green boxes above show how to complete an activity which then updates the Last Customer Touch field. The red box shows the date/time the account was last edited, ie: the zipcode was changed. Our main objective is to build a report to track customer touches. The Last Activity Date field will save a date in future if a task is completed with a future date as the due date. I've logged two cases in attempt to find a work around for this: Case 02016502 Case 01721197
