Gift Entry - Pending Donations Message

This message for pending donations needs to be editable with rich text. When users are doing vast numbers of gift entries, this is not prevelent enough out of the box.

Control order of Services in Bulk Service Delivery

It would be great to be able to sort the Service List on Bulk Service Delivery alphabetically, even nicer if we could also exclude Services that shouldn't be recorded via Bulk Service Delivery

Gift Entry Help Text

Enable "Help Text" in Gift Entry so that the Help Text defined on a given field is visible on the Gift Entry screen just like it is on the page layout. When users are entering items into Gift Entry, the Help Text would be beneficial to clarify the purpose of the field.

Change DEFAULT Values in Batch

I love setting DEFAULTS for my Batch, but I'd like to change them part way thru the Batch.

For example, during a direct mail campaign, most of my mailed gifts go to that campaign, So I'll default to Campaign X, and add a slew of gifts.

The remainder of gifts in that day's mail are for the Annual Capaign - but I can't change the defult to Annual for those remaining gifts - I've got to change it from Campaign X to Annual on each gift as I go.

Would appreciate the time & click savings!

Make validation rules for service schedules visible before progressing

I have added some validation rules onto my Service Schedule object, such that when a specific service is selected, then the user should pick a value from a speciic picklist.

With the way that the New Service Schedule interface is working now, end users only see this validation error after adding all the Service Sessions and Service Participants. Going back will cause them to lose all their work in creating Service Sessions and Service Participants, which could be a big time sink.

It would be great if the validation could take place before Service Sessions/Participants are required to be added.

Use Lookups with Validation in Gift Entry

Currently using Lookup fields which have filter validation is not supported in Gift Entry. The lookup filters on TARGET field prevent ANY records from displaying in Gift Entry, even if you include that same filter on the NPSP Data Import Object field.

There is no credible workaround for this and my client's need to be able to import data to fields with filter validation.

More granular Gift Entry permissions

Gift Entry is fantastic, but the fact that it requires such extensive permissions on batch entry is a real problem.

Using the Data Import object would ideally let organizations separate out initial data entry to a subset of users with limited permissions and then, after review, let a different user or users process the batch and create the gifts and associated data, but a user can't even key in a list of gifts without read/write permissions on accounts, contacts, and opportunities. Quite a few organizations want to limit permissions on who can create and edit gifts and they should be able to do so while taking advantage of batch entry.

Additionally, creating a custom permission that controls batch processing vs batch entry would go a long way towards making Gift Entry for batches a true replacement for other batch gift entry tools on other fundraising platforms.

Service Schedules - Add Option To Skip Weekends

When creating service schedules it would be nice to have a checkbox or similar function to select weekdays only or skip weekends.

Allow configuration of Stage filter for the Bulk Service Delivery Group function

The "Create Service Deliveries for a Group" currently filters the list of Clients / Program Engagements that can be added by Stage = Active OR Enrolled. My clients need to be able to define the Stage values in this filter. For example, one Client has an "Enrolled - Housed" Stage.

At present, I am unable to configure the stages in the filter and so they must keep using "Create Service Deliveries for an Individual" for now, even when creating records for many clients with the same Service and Quantity.

Alternatively, just remove the Stage filter and leave only the Program filter, or provide us with an on/off toggle for the Stage filter to enable or disable it to meet our Clients' requirements.
