Option to hide In-App Learning

Administration

In-App Learning is cool, but it is not for everyone, please give us options to hide it, probably we can use Permission set or Profile to enable users that to need to see it.

We should have the ability to to control this for our users based on profiles/permission sets, not for it to simply be pushed on to us

I did think it was an odd decision to push beta functionality in front of all users without warning or the ability to disable. Not how new functionality is typically handled.

This is what the In-App Leaning article for Salesforce's Spring '21 Release notes states:

"NOTE As a beta feature, In-App Learning with Trailhead is a preview and isn’t part of the “Services” under your master subscription agreement with Salesforce...This feature is for evaluation purposes only, not for production use."

So..."This feature is for evaluation purposes only, not for production use" ? Not sure why all of our users are seeing it then?

Also don't like that the message to users is: "Nothing is here yet, But check back later for helpful in-app learning content powered by Trailhead. Let your admin know if you're interested."

Appears to be a pretty hard-sell for MyTrailhead.

This is not required for users. There should be a way to hide this option using Permission set

Change needs communication, this is a distraction. You need to put all of these new end user modules behind a feature toggle when introducing them. Think about your customers first and not your marketing strategy, idc how usful this In-App Guidance is presumed to be...this is not a smart, customer centric implementation.

This is very confusing to our users; We also utilise our own company-curated learning content and this clashes with that resource. The 'Nothing's here yet' message which appears when users click on the 'In-App Learning' button also gives the impression that we have not set it up properly.
We need the option to hide this please.

Agree not having it in preview to really give notice of it being enabled. We have been training our users on company specific within salesforce and this only confuses things. Lastly, it's Beta it shouldn't be on by default and we should be in control especially when existing orgs don't get the "guidance center".

We prefer to use our company-specific training tool and have spent a lot of energy and time on change management to direct our users to our own platform. Deployment into our Production org without having seen in this in our preview instance is upsetting to say the least. On top of that, the appearance and placement of the In-App Guidance icon totally interferes with our other system. Please allow us to turn this off ASAP.
