Provide Capability to mark Address records as Inactive

Education Data Architecture

Providing the ability to mark address records of the same "type" as inactive when a new one is inserted, and then allow filtering on the object to be able to see "all" addresses or "active". This would also provide each institution with the ability to get rid of old data that is taking up valuable storage space that may no longer be needed.

You prioritized it and now we’re building it! Thank you, Trailblazers, for helping us shape our product roadmap. Inspired by this idea, we’re working on the following feature:

EDA: Provide capability to mark address records as inactive
Enable a user to mark an Address record of either a Contact or an Account to indicate it is no longer in use. This would allow users to keep current and older address records.
Estimated GA Release: Winter '22 SFDO 234
