Create Lightning Web Component (LWC) versions of Aura Workspace APIs (Console)
Updated 12/13/19:These Aura APIs from the "Workspace Tabs and Subtabs" library are super useful for low-code UI automation in Lightning Console. With more teams wanting an "LWC full stack" implementation, Salesforce should port the APIs to LWC so that customers don't need to wrap LWCs in Aura components.First PriorityAura Methods:
openTab()closeTab()openSubtab()focusTab()getTabInfo()getAllTabInfo()getFocusedTabInfo()getEnclosingTabId()refreshTab()setTabIcon()setTabLabel()setTabHighlighted()disableTabClose()isSubtab() [Note: In LWC this will be addressed via getTabInfo().]
Lower Priority (i.e. later or never - please comment if Aura isn't sufficient for you)
isConsoleNavigation()generateConsoleUrl() & openConsoleUrl()getTabURL()addToBrowserTitleQueue() & removeFromBrowserTitleQueue()
