SSL for Vanity URLs

Our site uses SSL, therefore a few issues are preventing us from using a vanity url: 1. Unless we use as our tracker domain the search tracking code causes SSL to turn yellow/show a warning on every webpage as well as every time someone attempts to fill out and click submit on the search feature on our website. We have tried removing http but this still flags a SSL warning once the submit button is clicked. 2. Considering our site is 100% SSL, any webpage that contains links to files that are within pardot that contain HTTP within the file path also flag a security issue to visitors. 3. Any landing pages we create and link to from the main navigation also flag a SSL error which asks the visitor if they are sure that they want to proceed. 'Button text is typically 'Return to safety'... Basically we need SSL enabled on our vanity tracker domain or we have to switch to using the tracker domain and that IS NOT A GOOD OPTION. For SSL enabled websites, the option to SSL a vanity URL is a must have.
