Improve Social Studio Connector and Integration
Social Customer Service
Right now Social Studio, Automate (former Social Hub), and Social Customer Service does not provide an option to push a Social Post into Salesforce without either creating a new or attaching to an existing Social Persona and Contact record. We must avoid creating new contact records: 1. Contact records are empty = bad data 2. Are redundant 3. Unnecessary storage usage 4. Generates confusion 5. Unnecessary manual process (and margin of error) Confusion for SF users On TOP of this, the integration is cumbersome as it actually creates an 'orphan contact': Which are Contacts without accounts—private contacts—are like a forgotten boat adrift at sea. They’re hidden from all users except their owner and system administrators, which makes them easy to forget, hard to find, and useless to colleagues. https://trailhead.salesforce.com/en/modules/admin_intro_accounts_contacts/units/admin_intro_accounts_contacts_basics It just doesn't seem to be right. So which 'best practices' are there to deal with this current kerfuffle?
