Quip - comment on fragment in paragraph

Comments seem to be attached to the complete paragraph, rather than specific words or fragments in a paragraph. This makes it very confusing to add and understand the comments, and for the document owner to respond to the individual unrelated comments. The San Francisco Giants are my favorite baseball team.

The comment capability should be updated to be attached to individual words or fragments, not the entire paragraph.

For example, in my first paragraph above, the first reviewer would undoubtedly react to my comment about the Giants with something snarky (talking to you Yankee-fan). From that point on, any legitimate comment to any other part of that paragraph would be 'attached' to the baseball team response, and it would look like the whole thread is devolving to a debate between fanatics.  Better would be to highlight a specific word (or fragment) and have that be a stand-alone comment that others could add to, and resolved independently of the other comments for that paragraph.
