Release changes to be applied under -not under a random user name

Accounts & Contacts

In the Winter 2020 release we received several updates, visible in our setup audit trail, that were run under the name of an Inactive Salesforce user record.

I have queried this with Salesforce and been told that this is something that they have done in Winter 2020 - the release just picks a random inactive user and runs the update in their name.

In the previous releases, these updates have arrived under the username of on the setup audit reports.      I am not sure what has happened in Winter 20 that means that picking a random inactive user is a viable option.

I would like to suggest that the releases go back to showing changes being applied by
