Uploading a new version of a file to update the date of the public link file

Chatter & Files

When using a public link on a file to share the file with customers, the file displays the date the file was created after the file name when accessed through the public link. Whenever a new version of the file is uploaded, the date on the public link file is not updated.

This is an issue because even though the document is up-to-date, the file's created date displays, which makes the customer think the file is outdated. Please allow for the latest version of the file to determine the date displayed on the public link file.

This is the title of the file when accessed via the public link:
Public Link File Name + Create Date

The actual name of the file is just "ACU Online Student Handbook" and the latest version was updated today.
