Enable Additional Homepage Templates for the Lightning App builder

Customization & App Building

Currently when building a lightning homepage in the lightning app builder there is only one template option. We would like the ability to control the sizes and number of sections available.

This is well overdue.
You cannot claim to have a totally customizable home page and NOT have this ability.
All the configuration options that are possible with Accounts Lightning Page need to be possible for Home Page.

Come on Salesforce, let's get this into the next release!

Yes, please allow us to make our own templates for pages, and allow us to control how wide the components are - so we can make full use of the real estate on screen.

Yes, this is much needed! Or give us access to Clone and modify the Home Page Components on a standard App lightning page.

Agreed. This is needed out of the box. Or at least give us access to all of the Home Page Components on a standard App lightning page. I'm running into the fact that I can only use the tabs component on a home page (which does not have a single region or full-width layout) but if I try to create an App page, I do not have access to Tabs or other other items anymore to place on the page.

We would like to the News component on wide view at the bottom (because the News accordian is not collapsed, >, by default), this is not possible with the out of box options.

I'm right in the middle of this at the moment. Trying to figure out how to get a single region for my dashboards. What I'm reading here is that right now, it can't be done. Yes, this control is greatly needed. Please add this functionality.
