Ability to add Lightning Email Templates to Changes Sets and Deploy from Sandbox

Email & Email Templates

Currently Lightning Email Templates aren't supported in Change Sets, so we're unable to migrate them between orgs. The change set UI includes a note saying "NOTE: [...] Lightning Experience email templates, can't be added to a change set. Those email templates aren't shown in this list."

This is frustrating, as it would be helpful if we could develop new Email Templates in sandboxes and deploy them to production with the rest of the components of our change sets.

    This functionality will be partially delivered in the Spring '21 release. You can add lightnig email templates to change sets and create managed packages containing Lightning email templates using the first-generation packaging tool.
