SEO/Social Media Friendly Pardot Landing Pages: Images and Meta Tags
Marketing & Content Tools
I would like to be able to set a preview image in the Landing Page editor that works with Open Graph Protocol, Schema.org, and Twitter Cards. I've added these meta tags on the template level and got them to appear in the landing page editor, but Twitter cannot scrape images from Pardot because of the robots.txt file. It would be nice to set the image in the first page of the landing page editor just as I can set the title and description.A workaround for now is to use our websites blog posts and embed the Pardot forms or host the preview image on a CDN, but this is inconvenient.

I was told by a Pardot support rep that "The logic here is, for example, if you have PDF files or other important materials that you want to gate with Pardot forms so you can collect prospect info, rather than let people find it via Google." According to my developer, Pardot does have the option to use different restrictions by filetype, so they should be able to set crawlers on image files.
