Add support for action.setBackground() or equivalent in Lightning Web Components

Developer Tools

Lightning framework automatically bundles multiple Apex calls and runs each method in the bundle sequentially (instead of in parallel), which can lead to terrible performance. This bundling is called boxcarring. See  for more details.

In Aura, there is a way to turn off this boxcarring by calling action.setBackground() before calling $A.enqueueAction(action).

Please provide an equivalent way to disable boxcarring in LWC when making imperative apex method calls or wiring functions/properties. Or turn off boxcarring altogether as it does more harm than good for performance.
