Dynamically display Quote fields in QLE

Salesforce CPQ

There is currently functionality to define which Quote Field Set is used in the Quote Lines table of the QLE, this is the 'EditLinesFieldSetName' special field on the Quote.

There is currently no way to define what fields are displayed at the top of the QLE from the Quote object.

One business case is that a company has multiple sales teams, the majority of the teams sell subscription products together with one off products, however, there is one team that only sells one off products and so don't need to see Start Date, End Date or Subscription Term.

It would be good to be able to have a new special field on the Quote to allow an admin to specify which Quote field set to use rather than be limited to the 'Line Editor' field set.

With the Winter '21 release, we are providing the ability to tailor the quote fields that you show in the quote line editor dynamically so users see only the fields that they need. To learn more, please see release notes.
