Quip: Improve Left Navigation for Easier Fav and Hist Find

In Quip one of the most frustrating thing is trying to find files in my favorites of history. This primarily a limitation on the number of characters shown being limited to ~19. There are a few ways to address this: 1.) allow the left pane to be expanded 2.) pop-out favorites for a name or date modified sort and select 3.)mouse-over; this is easist but also least desireable as it requires all similar names to be hovered over. 

Very suprised to see this has not been previously submitted as I know many colleagues have expressed the same challenge.
