Allow us to change the visable fields in Salesforce Inbox for (custom) objects

Salesforce Inbox

The fields shown in Salesforce Inbox, in Gmail, is not possible to change.

When you have an auto-name of the Objects that are created, it is not possible to understand what Object that the content is being logged to. 


Please allow us to 1) pick what Fields to show on all objects in Salesforce Inbox in Gmail, and 2) allow us to reorder them.

    Great news, the ability to configure fields for objects in the side panel is now GA for all desktop users in both the new Outlook integration (GA as of Winter '19) and Gmail integration (GA as of Spring '19). Winter '19 release notes for the Outlook integration and Spring '19 release notes for the Gmail integration detail the new integrations, and this help article for Gmail users shows you how to move to the new integration with Inbox. When you move to the new integration, the admin can customize which fields appear for certain objects, including custom objects, within the sidepanel, so you'll be able to include a field that allows the task to be assigned to other users. This help article details how the sidepanel can be customized.
