Alert Dialog Box to for warning / confirmation when editing records
Customization & App Building
Currently, only when deleting a record, alert dialog box will be poped up asking for confirmation.
I would to request the similar feature being extended for more generic usage:
1. Check for every update / delete action
2. We can configure which event (i.e. based on field changed) will trigger the alert dialog box
3. Click "Ok", will proceed the action. Click "Cancel" will cancel the action
4. We can custom the warning message.
There are often "critical" fields in a object, where updating such field will impact a lot of dependant data. We shall let user know the impact before they proceed the change.
