Salesforce1 to have the same off line capability as Classic

Mobile

I love Salesforce1. It has a good interface and is alot more user freindly than Classic. However when you have Field Sales who go to distant parts of the world where there is not always mobile data(yes there are still plenty such places including India, parts of Asia etc)  but they still need to be able to update their records, an off-line mode is  crucial.

Hi Lincoln- we are still actively working on this request and I hope to have some good news to share within the next few weeks, regarding availability (safe harbor). I'll post as soon as I have more to shre- in the  meantime thank you for your patience I know this is a critical feature for a lot of our customers.

    Previous Update:
The Salesforce1 downloadable apps cache users' most recently used records for access offline. Offline access is currently read-only, and is available in the Salesforce1 downloadable apps, versions 6.0 and later.  See the following link for more information: https://help.salesforce.com/apex/HTViewHelpDoc?id=customize_sf1_offline.htm&language=en_US

With the Winter '15 release, you'll be able to review your 5 most recently used Dashboards when you're offline and on the go.
