Territory Management Assignment Rules for Opportunities
We have the situation where the accounts are public but we still need territory management to properly handle sales reporting. We have a large and complex territory structure that has users moving from territory to territory and some users have more than one territory. When this is the case, the automatic assignment of a territory to an opportunity is essentially disabled since every account is assigned to every territory.
I would like to see territory assignment rules available at the opportunity just like you have them at the account level. These would over ride the default assignment rules.
It would also be good to have a setting that indicates that all accounts are public and are available for all territories. This avoids having to create an individual rule for each territory to get the accounts assigned to it.
