Need 'Lookup' field in Custom Metadata Types

Customization & App Building

I was very glad with the release of Custom Metadata Type Settings.  But there are limited type of field types that we can create (similar to custom settings).  It would be awesome if we can create "Lookup" field types to reference other custom data objects.

This is in pilot and available in all DE and sandbox orgs. You can create relationships from records of custom metadata types to records of other custom metadata types or to standard and custom object definitions. Relationships to standard and custom field definitions are on the roadmap.
