logging how many times a report is used

Operational Reporting

I would like to know to what extent a report fills a need of the end user.  Then, I could get rid of the reports nobody uses and concentrate on the popular reports.

Especially I'm interested in the use of the export to Excel functionality, because in Excel users adapt the report results to their specific needs. If I would know which user exports a lot to Excel, I could ask him how to adapt the SFDC report to his needs.

Therefore, I suggest a report on report usage.
