Operational Dashboards

Dashboards should auto-refresh either on access or based on a schedule. I find it frustrating that I have to refresh every dashboard to see the current statistics, I think SalesForce should automate this process or atleast allow it to be scheduled daily.

I understand that continually refreshing all dashboards of all SF users worldwide causes a lot of traffic. But please - at least refresh the Home page as soon as the user logs in, so they see real data in the morning. And open Dashboards with fresh data. The user will hit the "refresh" button a second later anyway.

Users want to see current dashboard data as soon as they open the dashboard without having to remember to refresh.

We need this! I don't get the thought process behind them not refreshing automatically. Is there organizations out there who want to see out of date information on their dashboard?

Really difficult to explain to users why the Dashboard can be very out of date. You tell them to refresh it, and they usually refresh the web page first.
At the very least, if dashboards shared between users, but viewed as individually, when one user refreshes the dashboard it should refresh for all.

why would you restrict for the dashboards that really need an auto refresh. Dynamic dashboards are the most important candidates for an auto refresh...
