Lightning Experience

Add Recycle Bin to Lightning Experience, although user can switch back to Salesforce Classic to access and restore from Recycle Bin, it is just not ideal.

The Lightning Recycle Bin will allow users & admins to restore their deleted items and admins to manage the recycle bin. Find the Lightning Recycle Bin via the App Launchder under All Items. Sounds like BOTH of your comments are correct....if you read the bolded line at your link, it still does not restore reports or dashboards. Until the Lightning one works at least as good as Classic, so that NO switching back is necessary, then this is still not fully delivered. Scott's issue may have been a one-off, but Salesforce should be FULLY TESTING and comparing to actually deliver and letting people know why iof they can't. Hopefully reportd and dashboards will be forthcoming as well?
@Jennifer Sacks, when you spoke to the PM/team for this deliverable, did they mention this lack of functionality or when it will appear or why it was not included, since it's still not "fully"?

To circle back, this feature is delivered fully and GA. Tim (PM) had the chance to connect with Scott and determine the issue was an isolated error.

Thanks for flagging this concern, Scott. Sounds like we may have only partially delivered based on the solution you're used to in Classic. Let me get with the product team to understand the delta and our plans.

That said, this highlights another issue, how we ensure that we clearly communicate and validate that we're delivering what you're asking for. This is a larger conversation, but I want to be transparent that we hear the feedback and are working on how we bridge the intent of the idea and the solutions we deliver. More to come.

Oddly enough, when I open the new Recycle Bin in Lightning, I can only see the files I deleted. As admin in Classic, I could see the Org's deleted items too. In Lightning, when I try to switch to the "Org Recycle Bin" list view I get the following message:

"This list view isn't available in Lightning Experience. To see this list view, use Salesforce Classic or switch to another list view."

I guess we're half way there, or am I doing something wrong?

The Lightning Recycle Bin should be available in the Winter '20 Sandbox. Open App Launcher, find it under All Items.

I read from Trust Status that the official release of Winter '20 is on October 5th.

It would be very helpful to have access to a Recycle Bin option in Lightning. Just used the recycle bin today to recover some deleted records. Disappointed that we could only perform this in Classic. Hmmm!!!

This blows me away. We are new to SF and have only used Lightening. Yet I keep having to learn classic since there are still so many things that don't exist in Lightening or just flat out suck.

There are seven 3rd party app exchange apps for a recycle bin in Lightening. How can SF itself not have one yet with 1000s of developers at their disposal?
