Intelligent Related Lists (Filterable by Admin)

Currently we have the option to list associated objects in a related list. What would improve effectiveness is: -the possibility to have more than one related list per object -the possiblity to filter results displayed in a particular related list e.g. 1. one list of opportunities and another list for won opportunities e.g. 2. a list of contacts that is filtered on record type so that only people with decision making level are reflected e.g. 3. a custom object that references invoices... one list for unpaid invoices and another for fully paid invoices

10/19/2012: Edited title from "Intelligent Related Lists" to "Intelligent Related lists (Filterable by Admin)", to help disambiguate from the idea Related lists filterable by user.

A feature based on this idea is included in the next cycle of IdeaExchange Prioritization from Jan. 18 - Feb. 1. It would provide the ability for Admins to configure and add filters to related lists in the Lightning App Builder. You would be able to add multiple related lists of the same object to your page. Example: An Account Page that has an Opportunity Related Lists for >$100k and another Opportunity Related List for 'Closing This Month'. Help us determine if we should prioritize this feature over others on our product roadmap as we begin planning for Winter '22 and beyond. Click the Prioritization tab above or visit

    UX Examples (safe harbor):

Manage all of your columns, actions, etc in the App Builder instead of PLE

Add Filters on the Related List right in the App Builder!
