Ability to remove the "New" button from Tabs.

Customization & App Building

We use Tabs to find high profile objects, some custom. We do not want these objects created anywhere but from the Contact record. Dead center on the Tab is the New button which, if used for our schemes, will result in lost data representing many hours of work. Audatex, Field Service, FS Initiative Tab.

Hello Trailblazers! Some exciting news I wanted to share with you all! As you may have heard by now, Dynamic Forms and Dynamic actions are our answer to this and several other ideas and more is now available in your Summer '20 sandbox. The initial feature sets for these 2 feature epics are both ready to be used in Summer '20 production orgs in mid July. These features are not GA yet, they are being considered Non-GA Preview, Beta status, just a step before GA. We expect to GA these features in Winter '21 (Safe Harbor). We are using this time to gather your feedback, ensure proper testing, and fixing before going GA. Please join our Trailblazer community for these features to learn more, sfdc.co/dfactionstb

For this specific ask around the ability to customize and remove 'New' from tabs, this is on our post GA roadmap for Dynamic Actions, along with other awesome capabilities like Dynamic Actions on other standard objects, mobile, and related lists. I will share more information as we finalize the post GA roadmap and timelines over the next few months.
