AppExchange App Suggestions,
Themes = "Different colors/schemas for the SFDC app. Maybe the ability to replace some "buttons" or switches across the app interface. (Like changing the "sort" arrow on lists to a big button). Purely user interface stuff. Model Firefox'es "Add Ons" feature."
User created vast library of SFDC approved "Themes". Leverage a Social Network style "room" off of the ideas.exchange.com "Home" app. Sort of like a side conversation about just SFDC "Themes" Ideas.
SFDC Marketing-Development are tasked with selecting/developing submitted theme ideas. Post "final cut" of approved Themes to the App-Exchange.
Make a new "Themes" section in the user-admin for the SFDC app and allow for easy downloading and activation of new themes from the appexchange. Make this a low price point of Free feature.

We've recently released a free native app called "Restyler" aimed at bringing more in-depth themes into Salesforce Lightning. It adds a theme designer into Salesforce that's let's you customise the entire UI, including fonts, backgrounds, tables, cards, buttons and more - plus it's all on platform so you don't need a browser extension!
Once you've designed your themes you can then apply them on a Profile + App basis.
It's currently in beta but if you want to check it out you can install it from the AppExchange here!

When I first heard of salesforce, its modern capabilities, etc, etc I imagined something that looked beautiful.
What I found was something that looked like the early 2000's only less friendly. Too much white everywhere you look. It's like Salesforce wants to be Microsoft Office 365. Essentially square and everything is white or a shade of white and almost NO choice in how it looks. We've had decades of UI options going all the way back to AS400 systems...but in today's modern world, we get White on White on Light gray.
As a graduate in graphic design, I find 90% of the pages I see in SalesForce as essentially text vomitted on a page and nothing visuallly leads you to what is important. If I went to SF HQ I'd expect to see a bunch of engineers running the show and their UI people locked in a dark room duct-taped mouths and hands tied behind their backs.
