Has anyone custom built a lightning page to show rolled up data from child accounts? Similar to an account hierarchy view but with columns for rolled up opportunity/contract data i.e. Amount, Expected Revenue etc.? Reluctant to spend time on this if SF deliver this change.. Any update SF?

Try this app, it got the hierarchy roll-ups, charts & smart actions:
On YouTube in action: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yNlKLfWXKNc
The provider: http://www.zaapit.com/page/smart-tables
The app: https://appexchange.salesforce.com/listingDetail?listingId=a0N30000009uXwyEAE
Label: Account Hierarchy, Customer View, Parent Account, Smart Tables, Smart Grids

any update on this? Am being asked to introdcue account hierarch into our org and this would be substantial work. Need to understand first what exactly is currently possible with hierarchy. We need multi level, and ability for roll up summary (number of accounts, roleld up peformance data etc)..

Urgently needed. My company qualifies each account with # of assets. For example, if # of assets is over 50 then it is an account we want to sell to. But some companies have different subsidiaries with assets around 10 but if we add all the subsidiary assets we get over 50 pieces thus an interesting account. The way SF is configured right now it won't let me detect which accounts are worth pursuing.
When will this idea be fulfilled?

Kristie - Any updates on this? I'm assuming if/when applicable, it will only be applicable on the Lightning platform but not Classic. Not only would it be nice to see all children account orders on the parent account as a way to see "inventory" on a parent account level but it would be nice to see the total amount sold for that parent company as well. Like some have noted we CAN get around this with reports but it would be nice to be able to view from the parent account.
