We have online classes that we need to send out class surveys for after each one, every single week - to the same group of enrolled students. e.g. Send template email every Monday and Wednesday at 7pm (on both days) for 12 weeks. Our original workaround for this was to set business hours from say 5pm to 11pm (triggering the email around the 5pm timeframe). However, for one of our new classes, it starts at a later time in the evening, and we do not want to trigger the survey email until 7pm - given that Pardot won't let us have any fewer than 6 hours for a 'business day', this workaround no longer works. It seems ridiculous to not be able to specify our own business hours (under a 6-hour window), let alone not being able to specify timeframes to send out emails in yet.

In addition to all the key reasons mentioned i.e marketers know the best times for email engagement and if not, need to be able to track, test and amend/iterate as several other less powerful automation tools on the market enables them to...
I can safely say I will try to no longer use this feature until you can schedule a time as well as a date. Actually have a negative use case for this "email send date only" feature which meant my whole engagement studio had to be cloned before I could send my email properly. Because you have a start time and date for the whole program and potentially another one for each email step, the discrepancy in settings may cause your emails not to send (past send date) and a step node to have gone through uncompleted without notifications or any easy way to debug (especially if you have many stakeholders/team members involved in the program creation, a complex flow with many steps or many programs on the go at the same time). I know you can add wait steps to buy you time to change the beginning of your program but that may not be possible on time-sensitive ones and is only a workaround. In short, much needed to improve this feature to a full delivery - in addition to more notifications of events in Engagement Studio to the program creators.

This is so important. We experience our highest open rates at 12pm or 8pm. We NEED to be able to specify the timing of engagement studio emails, as for example the first email we send should be at noon, the second email at 8pm the following date to receive the highest number of opens. PLEASE MAKE THIS HAPPEN!!!
